Each step is listed below.
- Register for Service—Register for service by going to www.ucs.net/internet and input your address in the search bar. Follow the prompts and as soon as your area becomes active we will notify you via email.
- The Drop—For fiber to the home, a drop contractor will run the fiber typically along the same path as your electric service. They will then place a Network Interface Device on the side of your home where the fiber will terminate at. The technician will then splice the fiber, and test for light. Once there is a good light reading, your order will be sent to our in-home installer.
- The Installation—Our in-home installer will then call you and coordinate a time to meet with you to complete your high-speed internet installation. The technician will walk the premise with you to determine the best path for cablling and device location.
- Tying It Up—A United technician will then finalize and assign your desired internet package and any other additional products or services.
