EMPOWER YOUR FUTURE AT UNITED
Get ready for a career that is filled with opportunities to learn, grow and advance in one of the most challenging and dynamic industries, and with a team of professionals that has earned a reputation for excellence within it —in safety, innovation, operational efficiency, reliability and consumer satisfaction (read about our consistently high ACSI scores in the Members First section here).
It starts with our mission statement.
United Cooperative Services will deliver
exceptional service and value to its membership.
While United’s 60,000-plus members rely on us every day to deliver affordable and reliable electric service to their homes and businesses, we never stop looking for ways to provide exceptional service and value as their trusted energy provider. To make that happen, our people are our greatest asset. The knowledge, skills, and perspectives our employees already bring to our member-centric focus have helped keep United at the forefront. That's why United's commitment to member service consistently leads the nation’s electric utilities in consumer satisfaction. Yet, we’re always setting the bar higher.
United is the sixth-largest electric cooperative in Texas, and we're still growing in a state where everything is touted proudly as being "bigger." Since 1938, we've provided electric service solutions that have brightened the energy futures of our members and the communities we serve. While our core business will forever be linked to our roots as an electric service provider, our organization was built on a progressive footing that will always serve as the springboard for new service horizons.
Our many successes as a company can be attributed to the valued relationships we’ve formed with both our members and our employees. Those relationships are built on honesty, integrity and transparency, and they are built to last. United’s average career service spans are about 20-30 years. That’s not only due in part to the experience and training our employees receive, but also to the excellent pay and benefits we provide to our employees AND their families. We also believe it is due to the many opportunities that exist at United for making a difference in others' lives and seeing the results firsthand. Your work here can make a difference to our members and in the communities we serve, too.
So what are you waiting for? Apply now and become part of United. We can’t wait to welcome you into the family.
Join the company that inspires better consumer experiences through a culture of innovation and teamwork."
