BURLESON - The Noe family was so desperate for adequate internet service, they paid for two internet services to serve their needs.
“And it still wasn’t as fast as the one with United Coop,” said Shelley Noe, business owner and mother of two.
The family of four has endured many technical struggles in the COVID-19 era due to inadequate internet service. Shelley, who runs the accounting for her business, struggled to get the simplest of tasks completed at home. Her husband, James, a pilot who owns an airplane manufacturing and distribution business battled to work from home as well.
When United set out on this venture, the mission of improving our members quality of life just as our founders did in the 1930’s was at the forefront of what we are trying to accomplish. To complete our goal, we set out to build a world-class network to serve our members for generations to come.
The Noe's son, Tristan, said he is amazed at how well his family's access to the internet has become.
“We all have smart TV’s now," said Tristan. "We all watch Netflix at the same time while on Zoom, while on the cell phone. It’s a complete night-and-day difference, and it’s crazy.”
