Edward Cardin began serving as a director in February 2014. He is a longtime cooperative member, and he has extensive energy industry background as the owner of a commercial propane fuel business in Granbury, which he began after attending the University of Texas Arlington. In that role, his highest priority in business is work integrity—leading to customer satisfaction and work safety. He is a vocal proponent of those priorities as a United board member. In addition, he serves as an elder at his local church, has served on the board of Brazos Pregnancy Center and is active in serving the community in a number of other capacities. Mr. Cardin is very focused on the well-being of the community and is an involved advocate for the residents in Hood County.
