A new bill design that puts what matters most front and center.
United Cooperative Services members will discover a new design for their November bills that will highlight important information better than the old presentation.
The new, uncluttered billing format, premiering Nov. 2, simplifies how the information is presented and highlights the total amount, said Cory Menzel, vice president of information systems & security.
“The old bill contained a lot of information that was difficult to follow.” Menzel said. “The new design will help members understand their charges and usage and will be easier for us to maintain going forward.”
Along with a highlighted electric total amount due that will incorporate United’s internet rate in the final tabulation for high-speed subscribers, the new billing format features a new at-a-glance usage chart that compares the current month to a year’s worth of usage, he said. Past-due amounts will appear in red.
Members who want a deeper dive on their bills can still access more granular usage information by logging into their MyAccount at ucs.net.
“By simplifying the bill, we’re making it easier for members to understand exactly what they’re paying for,” Menzel said. “The goal is greater transparency, fewer surprises and a more straightforward experience from start to finish.”
