DELIVERING EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE AND VALUE DURING UNCERTAIN TIMES

As United Cooperative Services responds to the unprecedented circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 outbreak, your co-op already has implemented several measures to ensure members experience uninterrupted access to electricity while the co-op continues delivering its promise of exceptional service and value.

United provides an essential service. As such, it is critical that we make decisions to ensure reliable electric service to all throughout our service territory. This has required us to make modifications to the way we do business to protect our members and our employees.

Please monitor this page and our social media for updates to the changes we make. We’re following guidance from federal, state and local agencies, including the CDC and other health organizations. We encourage members and have instructed employees to follow the CDC’s recommended hygiene practices to mitigate the spread of the virus.

A Message from our CEO

Suspension of Disconnects and Office Closures

As disclosed earlier in the year, United decided to align it's disconnect-suspension policy with Public Utility Commission of Texas' (PUCT) policy. PUCT discontinued suspension of disconnecting accounts for non-payment on Oct. 1.

Members should be aware they will still be responsible for energy use. Any members who face payment difficulties should discuss their situation with a member service representative by calling any of United’s local offices listed below.

All United office lobbies are currently open. Members may also use our drive-thru windows in Burleson, Granbury, Meridian and Stephenville, pay online by accessing MyAccount on the front page of our website, use the night-drop boxes at every office, or pay by phone:

Helping%20Hand.jpgResources for Those in Need

The COVID-19 virus has affected everyone differently, and some members may not be working as much or at all because of it.

Luckily, we live in an area where there are multiple helping hands to assist in times of need. If you or someone you know needs assistance paying their energy bills, please explore available options from the following local and state organizations available in our area.

We list 12 organizations that are here to help.

Keeping our Crews Safe

Crew%20Safety.jpgHealthy linemen are essential to keeping the electricity flowing.

Please give them space so they can keep delivering that exceptional service and value you've grown to depend upon as they continue electric infrastructure construction and maintenance and building our high-speed broadband internet network.

We're asking everyone to maintain at least six feet of distance between themselves and our crew as they do their work.
